Sport e Cultura : Episodio Toscana

On the occasion of the Olympic Games of Athens, under the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, many towns with Greek roots in Italy and all over the Mediterranean (Siracusa, Lecce, Locri, Crotone, Sibari, Metaponto, Taranto, Alexandria, Larnaka, Piraeus, Chalkis, Athens) have been associated within a project which will end up in Athens during the Olympic Games.
In Volterra, from 30th June to 3rd July 2004, a programme of music, theatre, cinema and sport events celebrates another civilisation, Etruria, confronting important events for the history of two very important Mediterranean cultures.
